This course offers a review of the euthanasia process, the appropriate drugs for euthanasia and sedation, updates on legal requirements, and addressing compassion fatigue. Students may (depending upon the availability of animals) practice injection techniques. This course is suitable for continuing education units required in Illinois for Certified Euthanasia Technicians. Students who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate of completion.
