Our conference relies on practical expertise and innovative research from professionals across all sectors—including governmental agencies, shelters, rescues, law enforcement, and veterinary clinics.
Session Details & Target Topics
Presentations are scheduled for 75 minutes total (65 minutes of content followed by 10 minutes of Q&A). We welcome practical submissions across key areas, including:

Operations & Care: Shelter standard operating procedures, shelter and veterinary medical care, and dog/cat behavior and handling.

Field Operations & Legal: Field services, animal control officer (ACO) topics, and cruelty investigations or prosecutions.

Community & Rescue: Pet retention, community outreach, adoptions, foster-based programs, and placement partner relations.

Leadership & Communications: Board development, governance, public relations, and emerging trends in animal welfare.
